Ingredients
- 3 to 4 bananas (ripe)
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 1/2 cups of flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 9x5-inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
- Mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl until mostly smooth.
- Stir in the melted butter, egg, sugar, vanilla, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- Add the flour and stir just until incorporated. Do not over mix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Begin checking for doneness around 50 minutes, as baking times may vary.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
