  8. ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  9. ½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  10. 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  11. ½ teaspoon grated lemon zest
  12. 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice, (from 1 lemon)
  13. ½ teaspoon hot sauce, (see Note)

  16. 1 pound fresh lump crab meat, picked over for shells
  17. Crackers
  18. Tortilla chips
  19. Vegetables, such as carrot sticks, celery, cucumber slices, or bell pepper strips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F with a rack in the center position.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream until smooth. Stir in the garlic, chives, Old Bay, granulated garlic, salt, pepper, Worcestershire, lemon zest, lemon juice, hot sauce, white cheddar, and ½ cup of the mozzarella. Gently fold in the crab meat.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a 9-inch pie dish or cast-iron skillet. Sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup mozzarella over the top.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and lightly golden and the dip is bubbling around the edges. (Alternatively, skip the baking and serve the dip cold. Just cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors meld and chill before serving.)
