Add RecipeStripper to your Home Screen

Keep RecipeStripper handy

Installation is optional and needs no account. You can always use RecipeStripper in your browser.

iPhone or iPad

Open this site in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen and Add. If that option is unavailable, keep a browser bookmark.

The Home Screen app can have separate storage from Safari. Before installing, export a JSON backup from My recipes. Open the installed app, return to My recipes, and import that backup. Do not assume your browser library transfers automatically.

Android

In a supported browser such as Chrome, open the menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen. The wording and availability depend on your browser and device.

Desktop or another browser

Use the browser’s install control if available, or bookmark RecipeStripper. There is no app-store download required.

Only recipes already saved on this device work in the offline reader. Extracting a new recipe needs a connection. On supported installed browsers, RecipeStripper may appear in the system Share menu; otherwise paste the recipe URL into the site.
